Yaz has been part of the last few years. He's been in Extinction Rebellion, and involved in the strategy and actions teams. Yaz was one of the central coordinators for 'the Big One'. Yaz is now working with Umbrella (the parent group of Just Stop Oil) on a project called Assemble — where they want to help communities put up independent candidates in the upcoming election and upgrade democracy. Yaz is a half-british, half-egyptian theoretical physicist that grew up in a few different places. He is also a film-maker, photographer and musician.
