Simmone is an award-winning changemaker, campaigner, writer, facilitator and educator who has contributed to environmental, social and cultural work in Bristol, London and across the UK. She has worked on air pollution, divestment and climate justice campaigns and currently uses facilitated workshops to explore climate colonialism, and examples of climate resistance and movements from the past and present-day. Simmone is exploring the intersection of climate change race and health with young Black and Brown youth at Wood & Water on the project climate calling. Simmone is currently a community organiser at the London Renter union (Lewisham branch).
