Sam’s pioneering vision (Morning Gloryville) brought a new era of clubbing and relating to the world stage. Getting people to wake-up at 6am dancing sober to DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Carl Cox was previously inconceivable. Furthermore, growing a community of 200,000 people within eighteen months was a huge success. Now known as the Disruption Doctor, Sam plays vital parts in various activist campaigns, movements and brand activations that influence culture. Her mission is inspiring questions around Sovereignty Reclamation and sharing ways for people to participate in for-good-entrepreneurship and acts of service. Sam is proudly queer and lives by Indigenous African principles.
“People are trees and trees are people. As we put our attention to climate change, let’s also put our attention and efforts to economic and racial justice.”
