Saif became an activist by accident and now has 20 years of experience. His knowledge was gained by working on local campaigns that affected embedded communities, from saving street markets, BAME community spaces, housing estates and small businesses. His parents come from Bangladesh, a green country with resources that’s also plagued with ecological disasters while striving for economic success. As an artist and architectural designer, Saif often addresses the issues affecting the communities around him from the topics or projects he chooses. Saif believes it’s vital to give people license to express their views so that they do not feel hopeless against larger forces.
