Professor Abubakar is a Ghana-born scientist and the Director General and Chief Scientific Officer of AHRO Center for Academic Research, a non-profit institute focused on advancing global health through research and education. He is an author with several books in his portfolio and also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of 'Annals of Tropical Medicine and Public Health'.
