Princess is a climate activist and Action for Conservation (AFC) youth trustee. She is extremely passionate about young people. Her interest in nature is rooted in her African heritage and particularly through her parents. This encouraged her to start volunteering in secondary school at the River Cray, where she cleared away plastic waste and built homes for wildlife. She became an AFC ambassador, gave speeches about nature and has made films about the plastic crisis. She is currently part of AFC’s Penpont project, the world’s first youth-led regeneration project.
“Young people are not just ‘the future leaders of tomorrow’, but we are the changemakers of today. And, if BAME voices aren’t heard in the climate crisis and the environmental sector today, then we compromise everyone’s tomorrow.”
