Leo is an author, non-profit leader and climate mobilizer committed to realising the promise of a climate-safe world in which humans thrive in balance with nature. He has worked with governments and cities around the world to turn sticky sustainable development challenges into irresistible opportunities for communities and businesses. He heads the World Resources Institute UK Office and is a Director at the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities, which works with cities to help them transform into resilient, inclusive, low-carbon places that are better for people and the planet.
Leo is a Professor of Practice at the SOAS Centre for Development, Environment and Trustee of ChinaDialogue, an independent organisation dedicated to promoting thought-leadership and forging a common understanding of China’s urgent environmental challenges. He also serves as adviser to HERO Labs, the first subscription-based platform providing a basic income for climate mobilizers around the world.
