Leah is a multi-award winning journalist, documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Disobedient Films. Leah develops and directs documentaries across multiple platforms focusing on how climate and colonialism affects human narratives and social justice. Leah led on the creation and development of "Climate Symphony", a data sonification project that uncovers stories in climate data to tell them through sound. Leah is currently directing a cross-generational film on the future of play in a climate changed world with their pre-schooler as the principal photographer. She is also a co-founding editor of the politics and culture magazine The Lead, directs and produces live conferences, and is an associate lecturer on the MA Filmmaking course at Goldsmiths College.
