Dr. Imad Ahmed is a Climate Advisor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change where he supports government clients with climate finance and climate diplomacy. He is the Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesperson for Bradford West, and a member of the Liberal International Climate Justice Committee, an executive member of the Green Lib Dems, and an advisory board member of the Paddy Ashdown Forum. He has over 15 years of international development experience. He published his infrastructure finance PhD thesis as a book with Springer Nature on the nexus between climate change and energy in Zambia. He has published commentaries with a range of popular newspapers across South Asia, Africa, the UK and USA, as well as peer-reviewed research articles in academic journals.
