Hirra Khan Adeogun
Hirra is co-director of Possible, leading Possible’s campaigns and communications teams to deliver impactful work and make change happen. She regularly shares her expertise in sustainable urban transport with the public. She previously headed up Possible’s landmark Car Free Cities programme, helping to secure London’s ULEZ expansion, supporting thousands of drivers to reduce their car use, and inspiring councils to introduce more ambitious kerbside parking space reduction. Hirra also organises Just Our Climate, a coalition made up of people of colour who want to progress climate action in Tower Hamlets. Before joining Possible, she worked at Amnesty International UK, extensively explored British Muslim identities, and used evidence and insight around the experiences of underrepresented people to drive positive change.
“To win the fight against climate change we need a mass movement that activates rapid change at the personal, social and structural levels.”
