Bryony is a British-Trinidadian artist and creative director whose practice explores diverse ways of perceiving the natural world, building on a professional background in public engagement with contemporary science and social history. Working within an ecocentric and decolonial framework, her practice moves between public realm installations developed in collaboration with academics, artists and activists to studio painting with creative writing. She is particularly interested in ecocentrism and embodied ecology, experimenting with different ways to create environments and experiences that illuminate human-nature interconnectedness and strengthen feelings of kinship.
