Ahlyah is a British Muslim campaigning for climate justice and systems change. She previously worked at UK Youth Climate Coalition as a volunteer organiser for the 16th Global Conference of Youth (COY16) ahead of COP26. At Friends of the Earth, Ahlyah helped develop a Ramadan climate campaign and organise their first Youth Gathering, creating an inclusive environment to engage a diverse network of young climate activists. During this role, Ahlyah helped develop campaigning resources for a global day of action across Friends of the Earth Groups in October 2018; carried out research on the IPCC 1.5 report, and supported planning work ahead of COP24. Ahlyah is currently a Publishing Assistant at the Royal Society of Chemistry.
