Amber is a learning designer for social change, specialising in environmental justice, community-led action, and equitable grant-making. Based in Bristol but working across the UK and with European organisations— they help enable organisations and individuals to create positive change through their work as a coordinator, facilitator, and consultant of climate action initiatives.

They are a beVisioneers Fellow with global “learning by doing” organisation ‘The DO’, a Board Trustee for nature-connection collective ‘The Visionaries’, and a freelance facilitator of learning spaces for intersectional climate action. Working with educators, arts institutions, local authorities, non-profits, and funders —such as the Natural History Museum, Greater London Authority, and Green European Foundation— Amber champions an intersectional and multidisciplinary approach to catalysing systemic change towards a regenerative future for all.

How might we collectively learn, imagine, and build towards a just transition that disrupts carbon-centric approaches to climate action, and empowers marginalised communities as agents of life-centred systems change?
